Using mindfulness, movement, breath and sound, I help you connect to your heart, allowing you to blossom into the person your soul already knows you to be.

All of our problems boil down to being too in our minds, and not connecting regularly enough with our heart and soul. Our mind’s job is to solve problems and they like to stay busy, creating problem after problem to focus on and distract us from our heart and our soul, which is who we truly are and where all of the answers lie. We are so caught up in our minds that we don’t even know what parts of ourselves we’re not accessing. When we are in our hearts, we awaken to our inherent worth, to the abundance that is within us and all around us. When we are in our hearts there is no confusion or self doubt because we know that what comes from our heart and our soul is our truth, and there is no questioning truth. What our souls wants, the universe supports because what comes from our highest self is for the benefit of the highest good of all. Through the healing triangle of Asana (movement), Santi (Meditation and mindfulness practices), and Prana (breath) wrapped in a warm blanket of Svana (sound) you will get a map directing you how to get in touch with these parts of yourself that long to be discovered. It’s all there waiting to be unlocked, you are your greatest healer. Give yourself the gift of time, space, expansion; of connecting to the limitless being that you are.

Research shows again and again that mindfulness leads to less stress, less self doubt, less anxiety – more confidence, more self love, more passion, more purpose, more creativity, more health, more immunity. All things we can use more of! So, what are you waiting for?

Asana (Movement):Yoga asana helps to increase body awareness, deepen lung capacity, improve nerve function, release blocked emotions & pain, and create more ease & flow. Creating more space for yourself, physically, mentally, emotionally, and energetically and reducing stress, anxiety, and fear. There are many gems of wisdom to be discovered when we slow down and listen to our bodies. Beyond the physical, yoga asana is a real-life game changer, I know, I know, this statement used to make me cringe too, but guess what? It’s true. How you might ask? We counteract the physical ramifications of our societal and experiential conditioning… opening our hearts when we might have spent our lives protecting them and thus impeding deep authentic connection, opening our hips to let go of the tight illusory grip of control we try to maintain on a life that is mostly uncertain. Through trying new asanas, falling and picking ourselves back up again, achieving postures we never thought we would do, we gain empowerment. Yoga is a gateway to deeper self discovery work. We learn so much about ourselves on the mat  can connect that to how we experience life and relate with the world.
“Yoga does not just change the way we see things, it transforms the person who sees.” ― B.K.S Iyengar

Santi (Mindfulness): When we take the time to cut through the literal and figurative noise of life, we awaken to the fact that we all have our own personal ocean, a quiet place of peace and tranquility deep below the tumultuous surf. A vast, limitless ocean of love, compassion, and acceptance, this is who we are, our true essence, our Buddha nature. Developing a meditation practice helps us to tap into that place with more grace and ease no matter where we are or what is going on around us, helping us to reduce stress thus reducing cortisol in the body, leading to better immunity. Meditation helps us develop more space between stimulus and response, so that we may respond more skillfully rather than react impulsively, thus improving our relationship with the world. The baseline of peace that is cultivated through a regular meditation practice fosters deeper and more stable relationships without the dramatic highs and lows. We begin to connect from our soul rather than our ahamkara or ego identity. Through a consistent meditation practice we develop santosha or gratitude which is the gateway to joy. Anxiety, fear, and tension cannot exist in the mind and body when we are in a state of gratitude.
"The quieter you become, the more you can hear". – Ram Dass

Prana (Breath):How we breathe determines how we live, how we relate to the world around us and to ourselves. Our breath is our most powerful ally in life; through pranayama and breathwork we can use it to self soothe, self regulate, relax, cleanse, energize, self heal, move energy, and release emotions and deep trauma. The most empowering part is that our breath is always with us at our disposal, no matter where we are or what is happening around us, we can harness the power of our breath to change your reality. Emotions are energy in motion and are meant to be felt and expressed, however; we don’t always know the most skillful way to do so and they can become trapped in our body, creating tension and or blockage. By using a breathing method that is different from our customary way of breathing we get out of our automated responses, creating space and opportunity to for things such as retained emotions, trauma, and limiting beliefs to move and be release, we tap into different parts of ourselves helping to transform old patterns and blossom into the most vibrant and alive version of ourselves, accessing different states of consciousness that can send us a roadmap to who we really are.
"Breath is the finest gift of nature. Be grateful for this wonderful gift". - Amit Ray

Svana (Sound): We don’t always hear it, but everything has a sound, or resonance, the frequency at which an object naturally vibrates. Sound healing is the use of sound vibrations, instruments or voice, to relax your mind and body encouraging the release of energetic blockages and returning the body’s own vibrations to their natural states, inducing a state of ease and harmony. Sound healing allows your body to use it’s innate wisdom to heal itself by slowing down your brain waves, which affect every cell in your body aligning it with whatever you need.Sound can shift frequencies from low energy of guilt and fear to higher vibrations of love and joy. When vibrations travel through the body, they promote circulation, energy flow, and rejuvenation. Similar to meditation, sound healing can lower stress levels, lead to fewer mood swings, lower blood pressure, lower cholesterol, and improve sleep. Sound healing has also been used to treat a number of conditions including anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, autism, and dementia. I incorporate sound in all my sessions whether it be through mantra and chanting in yoga asana and meditation or sound healing through voice and instruments in breathwork sessions.
"Sound is the force of creation, the true whole. Music then, becomes the voice of the great cosmic oneness and therefore the optimal way to reach this final state of healing". – Hazrat Inayat Khan
